We’ve added more flexibility to how the Smart Assistant composes emails. You can now choose to omit email closings when generating drafts with the AI-powered assistant.
Avoid duplicate sign-offs
If your email signature already includes a closing (like “Best regards” or “Thanks”), you can simply turn off the “Include email closing” toggle. This prevents the Smart Assistant from adding a closing to the email body, keeping your messages clean and free of repetition.

Mailbutler automatically analyzes your tracked emails — focusing on opens, clicks, and engagement patterns — to help you identify messages that may need to be followed up on.

New Composing Live Status Indicator

We’ve expanded our set of live status indicators to give you clearer real‑time visibility into how your collaborators interact with shared contacts. The new composing status appears whenever you view a message from a contact that a collaborator is currently drafting an email to.

When a collaborator starts composing an email to a contact you are currently viewing a message from, you’ll see a helpful notice in your sidebar:

Improved Signature Editor + New Modern Templates

We’ve given the email signature editor a complete refresh to make creating and customizing your email signatures simpler and more flexible than ever.
Easier signature creation
The revamped editor helps you build signatures more intuitively, with clearer tools and a smoother user experience.
You now have much greater freedom when building your signature, including the option to add multiple website links, use any custom labels you like (a highly requested improvement), and adjust the structure and layout more flexibly.

Modern signature templates (replacing legacy templates)
We’ve introduced a new set of modern email signature templates that replace the old legacy versions. These modern templates offer cleaner design and more flexible layout options, giving you a stronger foundation for building polished signatures.
If you’re still using a legacy template, switching to a modern one will allow you to take full advantage of the improved editor and updated formatting options.
Quick tip before editing your existing signatures
To update an existing signature, you’ll first need to upgrade its template to the modern format.
Please keep in mind:
  • Upgrading may
    change the appearance or structure
    of your existing signature
  • These changes
    cannot be undone
    once applied
  • If you’re not sure, we
    strongly recommend making a copy
    of your current signature first
This ensures you can safely revert or compare versions if needed.
