Please implement a proper Evernote integration for Apple Mail

Bumping this up. Just started Mail Butler and one of main draws to it was the apparent Evernote integration. However, the current integration (adds a note... that syncs eventually ... and then with a link to the email and no content of the email included) - is to put it bluntly, isn't very useful, takes many clicks and there's no, and I'm not sure it could really be advertised as an "integration", if I'm being honest. Sad to see that it looks like there was a proper integration in the past? Like other commenters - please bring it back where the content and attachments can all be put in an Evernote note, and you can choose the notebook and add tags etc. And ideally a single keyboard shortcut or single click to 'export to Evernote'. Thank you!

Integration with Evernote

I would like to be able to save my emails to Evernote, in a desired folder with a desired tag, like Newton Mail.
Handy when you purchase an app with say a license number. Then you can save the email to evernote with tag, license number.

Thank you for your suggestion. Syncing full email content to Evernote is not on our roadmap, our current integrations functionality is mainly focused on syncing notes and tasks to third-parties software. To sync full email content would be a whole different approach than the direction we're currently headed.

Noortje: Yeah, but the current approach isn’t very useful! The notes you can create are low functioning, lacking features, require you to make all the content, and not at all helpful. I also hate the Todoist “integration,” as it’s hardly useful. The integrations are very basic and I can’t make them work in my workflow. When I signed up for Mailbutler in 2016, it had complete Evernote integration. That’s why I loved it. It worked amazing for my business by letting us save whole emails and easily edit them in the mail app before saving to Evernote.
I stayed with MailButler this long because I was stilling running an old MacOs that worked with Evernote Exporter, which was created after Mailbutler moved the Evernote functionality from the main part of the app. Now, that I’ve lost that functionality, I’ve switched to superhuman, where I can export to Evernote easily with snippets, but it’s still not as good as Mailbutler used to be! Mailbutler was amazing for this! Suoperhuman is much better than what Mailbutler has become. I was a huge MailButler fan, but without this Evernote functionality, it’s lost its usefulness. I will not be renewing my subscription.

I totally get that Mailbutler is moving in a different direction than what attracted me to your product. I wish you guys great success with your future releases. You're all great people and you have exceptional support. I enjoyed your product for many years until I upgraded to the new less Evernote compatible version, which is definitely not for me. -I stayed on Mojave until April of 2021, so that I could continue to use my favorite version of Mailbutler which had the best Evernote integration ever! You guys nailed that initially better than anyone else ever has including Evernote! If you ever bring that feature back, I will become a loyal client again, but I realize that one user is not enough to make a difference and that you guys don't see it as important. Again, thanks for being awesome people and for all your support over the years! I wish you all well.

Noortje: This feature is mandatory. That why I started to use Mailbutler.

We need to be able to save an e-mail as a note directly into an Evernote Folder in an efficient way, similar to moving an e-mail to an internal folder.

The same as Jeff it is for me! That's why I signed up too!

Please please please bring back Evernote Exporter. It is by far the most useful feature of Mailbutler for me. I use this feature like 30-40 times a day and am stuck on Mojave until you bring back support. This feature is essential to your product.
The current Mailbutler integration with Evernote is pretty much useless as it is without this. I don’t even understand the thought process behind the integration. It doesn’t copy the email. It puts a useless Mailbutler link in the note. It doesn’t allow one to choose a notebook or tags. What’s the point.
I signed up for your service because of this feature. Please support Evernote Exporter again.
