Customizing notifications for specific mailboxes in Apple Mail.

Specifically, having a setting similar to “Favorite Mailboxes” on Mail app for iPhone would allow users to quickly activate and deactivate notifications for certain emails as their priorities shift or as they move places.

Using smart mailboxes it is already possible to get notifications for certain emails folders, but it is a tricky setup and doesn’t follow favorite mailboxes. It also delays notifications by a few minutes instead of being instant (with “all mailboxes” set) which is very annoying.
